This week, we start with our school-to-school comparison of the big dogs in the MBA arena. The so-called Magnificent 7, or M7, seems to fascinate everyone, whether or not you are on your way to attending one of these dream schools.

Detailed charts in this story compare stats like class size, acceptance rate, test scores, cost, ROI and more. It offers unique insight into the elite group – think Harvard, MIT Sloan, Stanford, Wharton, Northwestern Kellogg, Columbia and Chicago Booth.

#2: MBB Consulting Base pays nearly $200,000 for new MBA hires

The big three in global consulting — McKinsey, Bain and the Boston Consulting Group — have historically paid the highest starting salaries to new MBA graduates. For this upcoming recruiting season, however, the three companies will be raising the bar, rolling out some of the biggest pay increases for new hires in more than two decades.

According to a new report from FinancialTimes. With the usual $35,000 signing bonus, that would bring the MBA offers up to $225,000. In addition to performance-related bonuses, the MBA’s first-year compensation could reach a quarter of a million dollars.

The increase comes as the labor market is tight, which has prompted companies to up their game in finding talent. Get all the details on our homepage.

#3: Looking for the Best School B Undergraduate Teachers of 2022
