Credit-based undergraduate programs (includes career and technical programs)

Fall and Spring Semester Tuition Deposits

Students who are new to the University or changing programs must pay a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit (usually $200). This deposit is usually due three weeks after offer of admission and is applied towards tuition fees. Students continuing from one academic year to the next, in the same program of study, are not required to pay a deposit for tuition fees, but if they withdraw from all courses at any time at During the first two weeks of the fall or spring semester, they will be assessed a $200 fee.

Deposits for the summer session

No deposit is required for the summer session; however, if a student withdraws from all classes on the first or second day of term, a $200 fee will be charged.

Tuition Balance

For academic programs, the balance of fees will be due two weeks after the start of the semester. The balance of fees for summer session courses will be due at the end of the first week of classes. Students who do not pay their fees by the tuition payment deadline will be withdrawn from their courses.

Limited Access Programs – Fee Deposits and Balance

For programs with limited seating, failure to pay the deposit will render the offer of admission null and void. Some limited access programs require a tuition deposit greater than $200. Students admitted to limited access programs will receive a letter indicating the specific amount and due dates for the deposit and the balance of fees.

Professional development and training programs and English as a second language

Full fees are due and payable at time of registration.

Academic and professional preparation programs

No deposit is required for students in literacy and adult basic education programs. Fees are due two weeks after the start of the semester.

Students enrolled in access programs pay a $200 deposit by August 1; the balance of the fees is due no later than October 1st.

Trades and Applied Technology Programs

A non-refundable deposit of $200 is due and payable upon notification of acceptance into a program. This deposit cannot be transferred to another semester or program entry point. Tuition is due in full prior to the start of all trades and applied technology programs. Students will be notified when the fees are due.

Graduate courses and programs

Students will be notified when tuition deposits and all other fees are due.
