Chiefs WR Skyy Moore selected for first of NFLPA rookies

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NFLPA held its 28th annual Rookie Premiere event in Los Angeles, where it hosted 42 top rookies from May 19-21, to learn about the world of football and give their sponsorship career a boost .

One of the rookies selected for this event was Chiefs second-round pick Skyy Moore.

The event took place in person after being virtual for the past two years. Former chefs invited to the event include Mecole Hardman, Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Cornell Powell.

Players are primarily chosen by Panini America based on marketability, college performance, position, and draft status.

The majority of players in the event are playing offensively, as only four defensive rookies were selected.

Moore, along with the other rookies, got to do a jersey reveal presented by Fanatics with action and studio shooting for the Panini Trading Cards.

It will be interesting to see what the Chiefs’ new receiver does in the new offense with Patrick Mahomes.
